To better serve the students of TISD, Child Nutrition needs 7 days notice (or more) of a field trip. This allows us to ensure that we have safe items to send on a field trip that will be easy to distribute to kids.
Please fill out the Field Trip Form. Once that is received, Child Nutrition will reach out with further directions and steps.
The Field Trip permission slip should have a line item asking if the student would like a meal.
This will help give us a guess on how many students would like a meal a few days before the event. On the day of the field trip we will give you an extra BIC roster to confirm the students that needed a meal. We are not able to send extra meals; We can only send the number of meals that are accounted for on the day of.
